Magnificent Mile Shopping Strategies

The City of Chicago is in the Revitalization phase of pandemic reopening and that means retail shopping is now open! Of course, there are capacity limits and IDPH safety guidance in place you’ll need to follow, but that just helps keep everyone safe so the stores can remain open.

The best shopping in the city is all within walking distance in downtown Chicago. You’ll find everything from the most popular brands and luxury labels to capsule collections and customizable products, and there’s no denying that you won’t find shopping anywhere else quite like shopping at The Magnificent Mile.

With more than 450 retailers, you’ll find international designers and the smallest boutiques, major department stores, flagship experiences, amazing jewelry, shopping for your home, innovative technology, and items for travel all up and down The Magnificent Mile. There are also three huge vertical shopping centers…each with their own unique incentives and special savings!

Know before you go! If you haven’t shopped along The Magnificent Mile before, it’s a good idea to do a little research to find out where the specific shops are located that you’d like to visit. There’s a little help for you below but you can also check out this website for more detailed information.

Planning is key, but so are good walking shoes! You will certainly want to do your homework so you can accomplish all the shopping adventures you seek! Extensive shopping choices combined with beautifully historic buildings, great people-watching, and street performers makes The Magnificent Mile one of the best shopping areas in the country.
